India in Information Technology (IT)

The technology may have started in the US, but it could not have progressed without India's help. A few months ago Google's CEO Eric Schmidt created a ruckus by saying that India would become the world's largest Internet market within the next five to ten years. He also said that in a few years, the three languages which will dominate the Internet - Hindi, Mandarin, and English, Shimat's statement should open the eyes of those of us who believe that the basic basis of computing is English.
This notion is completely wrong. The language of computing is the language of numerals and the computer understands only two digits - one and zero. Any technology can succeed only when it adapts to the consumer.

In the context of India, the use of IT will have to be molded into Hindi and other Indian languages. it is inevitable. The reason is very simple and that is that we have a number force. We have millions of people who are educated, intelligent and give importance to the local language. If it is to reach these crores, then it has to be molded according to Indianness, Indian language and Indian environment. This is called localization in the technical language (India in Information Technology (IT)).

We also have a proverb - the same country as that. In the case of IT too, this thing is 100% applicable. Large companies in the software sector are now in search of new markets, as the English market has reached near the stagnation point. English speaking people are rich and have bought computers etc. They no longer need new computers.

But we Hindustani are now buying computers, and buying on a large scale. We are now adopting the internet and mobile technologies as well. Today, we are having a revolution in the field of communication. These figures are enough to entice any marketing executive.
Whatever technology is associated with the common man, there is scope for an infinite increase in it.
Our economy is on the rise, so the number of people using technology has exploded like that. No market leader can make the mistake of ignoring India. He cannot even ignore Indian languages.
They are also adopting these languages. Hindi portals are also becoming commercially self-sufficient. By forgetting Dotcom Jaljala, many linguistic websites are registering their presence and millions of people are reaching them every day. In the last ten years, no international IT company has shown interest in the field of Hindi Internet(India in Information Technology (IT)).

But now she has jumped into the Hindi market. They know Indian companies have prepared the market with their hard work. Since now bringing internet-based software projects in Hindi is a profitable deal, so whether it is Yahoo, whether Google or MMN, all are coming in Hindi. Microsoft's desktop products are coming in Hindi.

IBM, Sun Microsystem and Oracle have started adopting Hindi. Hindi has also come on Linux and Macintosh. Internet software has started supporting Hindi in the Internet market like Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, and Opera. Hindi is also popular in the field of blogging. Hindi has become available from the work of the common computer consumer to the database. It is a different matter that we still have to go a long way, but a big beginning has been made, and it had to happen.

It is an interesting coincidence that the encoding system here has enabled Hindi to be just as English and at about the same time there has been a tremendous expansion in the Indian market. Combining the business interests of companies and the power of Hindi is showing its miracle in such away. It is good for companies and even in Hindi, yet there is no shortage of challenges.
Standardization in Hindi and other Indian languages is a major problem even today. Through Unicode, we have made a big leap towards standardization. He has solved many of our problems. Incidentally, standardization of Unicode did not get as much support from Indian IT companies as standardization of keyboards(India in Information Technology (IT)).

The official keyboard of India is the standard script. It is a very smart type, a very simple and very fast typing keyboard. The solution to the problem of font inequality seems to be near, but the issue of keyboard chaos is complicated. With techniques like transliteration, we are bringing people closer to Hindi, but keyboards are making standardization equally difficult.

Even after adopting Unicode, we have not reached half standardization. To give more speed to IT in Hindi, the training of Hindi computer typing has also not been taken care of till now. Currently, people learn English in English and later work a little in Hindi through rhyme. If the government wants, it can find a solution to this problem by ordering to write English as well as Hindi letters on the keyboard.

If you want to take full advantage of Hindi in IT, then software also needs to be provided at very cheap rates. Adoption of Hindi in the area of non-news websites has received less attention. Only literature or news based Hindi portals, websites or blogs will not work. In technology, science e-commerce, e-education, e-governance, etc., the challenge of bringing Hindi websites in Hindi and other Indian languages will also have to be resolved(India in Information Technology (IT)).
